TISA meets and sees HERE connectivity table demonstration in Berlin

TISA TAWG met last week at HERE Offices in Berlin and viewed a demonstration of HERE connectivity table.

This demonstration consists of an interactive table that illustrates the impact of increased connectivity between all mobility providers. The interactive table that simulates the traffic flow of cars, public transport and fleet. The degree of connectivity can be manipulated as can the time horizon from today to 2020 finally to 2030. By means of different personas who want to travel from A to B, the impact of transportation, connectivity and time of day can be experienced on a personal level. This demonstration would allow us to invite interested parties, partners or infrastructure providers to discuss their vision of the future of mobility. With this demo we will walk the audience through what is available today in urban environment of Berlin, what is possible to achieve in the future for urban environment such as Berlin, and how connectivity impacts the city as well as individuals under various unknown scenarios such as weather and traffic.
