TISA engaging in dialogue with the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) Community!

Danny Woolard, a TISA Fellow and CEO of VESOS, will be remotely presenting TISA members' work at the 2026 CAP Implementation Workshop in Birmingham, UK.

Organised by the Environment Agency, OASIS Open standards, and Alert-Hub.Org, the workshop brings together everyone interested in emergency alerting from emergency managers and technical specialists to media and wider audiences, including government, civil society, and commercial organisations.

Danny will share real-world learnings from eCall to RTTI, CAP and TPEG Emergency Alerts and Warnings (EAW), exploring how we can build trust in in-vehicle driver information and make emergency alerts more effective.

When timely emergency alerts are connected to navigation systems, they can support accurate, timely routing and help drivers avoid dangerous situations, making such alerts a powerful road safety tool.

TISA's RTTI 5-Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rating Specification supports stakeholders across the data provisioning chain in building greater trust in the quality and reliability of data shared.

To learn more, reach out to Danny directly on LinkedIn or contact the TISA Executive Office at eo@tisa.org

TISA Treasurer (and valued Member) Kai Roddeck, Mecom, will be present at the event so be sure to say hello!
