Day 1 – TISA Committee Meetings - 4 March 2025
First round of TISA Committee meetings in 2025 have been held in EU’s capital city of Brussels, most famous however for TinTin, frites, chocolates and beer.
One of the highlights of the day was the keynote speech by Jonas Matthias who introduced Graphmasters to the wider TISA community. NUNAV apps make driving easier for private drivers, courier, bus and truck drivers, making them aware of best routes, access restrictions and other relevant information. At the same time, Graphmasters supports road authorities, such as Lower Saxony, in adjusting their traffic strategies to large scale events and construction sites.
TISA Products & Innovation Committee elected a new co-Chair, Andras Czepinsky from MoTeRe. Congratulations Andras and Congratulations to the Committee! A match made in heaven.
Furthermore, a new Use Case Proposal covering liaison with ESERCOM-D project was adopted.
Technical & Standardisation Committee welcomed Rodolfo Da Silva, KIOS CoE from University of Cyprus for an update on NAPCORE’s work on “Quality and TN-ITS enhancements concerning the data sharing supply chain”.
Location #Referencing Task Force Kicked off its work aiming to become the central forum for technology experts around the globe, addressing all relevant location referencing developments (TMC, OpenLR/OLR, OSM IDs etc.). Hereby we call all Location Referencing experts to join the Task Force!
Finally, Mapping of Functional Road Classification Task Force kicked-off its work and welcomed a presentation by Susanne Smyrek, HERE Technologies and Bas Bussink, NDW on Approaches for Functional Road Classification.
