Day 2 in Ghent: Collaboration, Innovation & Standardisation in Action!
The TISA Technical & Standardisation Committee and the Product & Innovation Committee presented their latest achievements and ongoing initiatives to the wider TISA membership, Wednesday 17th June.
Expertly moderated by Stéphanie Chaufton, the sessions featured valuable insights from industry leaders and working groups, including:
- An Introduction to Movias and TISGRADE WP2 on Traffic Circulation Plans & Functional Road Classifications — presented by Isaak Yperman
- Trusted Intelligent Infrastructure “ Let’s make geospatial intelligence accessible to all” – presented by Ellen Hoogeveen, AI-InfraSolutions
- An Introduction to the National Geographic Institute (NGI) — presented by Jasper Beernaerts
- An Introduction to TripService — presented by Jurgen Rutgers
The latest progress from TISA Task Forces was also shared on:
- Location Referencing — Teun Hendriks
- The Status of RDS-TMC Services Worldwide - Mark Saunders, HERE Technologies
- Functional Road Classifications — Matthias Unbehaun
To conclude two productive days of committee meetings, members focused on the RTTI 5-Star Rating Framework, including:
- An update on the Evaluation Methodology by Antoine vd Laan
- Report from the RTTI 5-Star Strategy WG: Review of new Priority Use Cases by Matthias Unbehaun
