TISA Committee Meetings - 27 & 30 September 2024
The first day of two-day (online) committee meetings dove straight into the work with a report from the TISA Executive Office and highlights from the recently ended 30th ITS World Congress in Dubai.
The energy was then diverted to TISA Products and Innovation Committee which detailed the work done on TPEG Evaluation Kit and TISA GitHub.
The first day was finalised with a report from the RTTI 5 Star rating working group and Safety Related Transport Information (SRTI) Update of Message Sets.
Work then continued on Monday, when we came back with more news and updates on Intelligent Speed Adaptation (ISA), Harmonised Functional Road Classification and much more!
The second day of the TISA Committee meetings highlighted the importance of:
- TISA Guideline: Digital Map Quality Assessment Framework for In-Vehicle Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA), presented by Stephanie Leonard from TomTom
- Harmonised Functional Road Classification, incl. draft position paper on traffic circulation plans presented Mikael Ivari from the City of Gothenburg and
- New Service Emergency Warning #Satellite Service brought forward by Katarzyna Porzuc from EUSPA - EU Agency for the Space Programme
