New President for TISA
We are delighted to announce that, during this year's General Assembly, TISA members elected José Valdecantos, CEO of Xouba, as the organisation's new President.
José succeeds Stephanie Leonard, who has successfully led TISA over the past two years. We extend our sincere thanks to Stephanie, who handed over the Presidential relay baton to José - for her leadership, commitment, and valuable contributions to the organisation.
With extensive industry expertise, strategic vision, and a proven track record of innovation and leadership at Xouba, José is ideally positioned to guide TISA into its next chapter.
As President, José will help drive TISA's vision: A world where traffic and travel information is 100% correct, 100% of the time, on all roads.
Following his appointment, José said: "As TISA President, I would seek to contribute to the association’s continued success by focusing on the following priorities:
- Strengthen the association's role as a global leader in harmonised standards for reliable traveller information.
- Continue the work already underway to improve the quality of traffic data through TISA's Quality Rating initiative, where data feeds and their quality are increasingly critical as we complete the transition from analogue driving to a fully digital experience enabled by connected and autonomous vehicles.
- Foster collaboration across the entire mobility ecosystem and respond to the need to maintain global interoperability in an increasingly complex mobility landscape, while also addressing cybersecurity and data governance requirements.
- Support improvements in infrastructure and the increasingly digital road travel experience, helping to drive the transition towards more digital management among all stakeholders.
- Ensure that TISA continues to deliver value to its members and to society."
