Mercedes-Benz Luxembourg chooses Be-Mobile for their traffic and mobility information for their in-car navigation systems

Avoiding traffic jams, predicting traffic times and dodging road works becomes one-step easier in Luxembourg with the introduction of Be-Mobiles traffic data to Mercedes-Benz in-car navigation systems

To coincide with Mercedes-Benz Luxembourg Auto Festival 2013, Mercedes-Benz announces that all of their models for sale in Luxembourg will come furnished with the cutting edge mobility and traffic data as supplied by Belgian firm and TISA Member Be-Mobile until the end of 2015.

Be-Mobile has many years of proven expertise within the automotive sector. Consolidating up to the minute data on the flow of traffic sourced from an extensive network of floating car data, enriched with journalistic input obtained from municipal traffic centers, police reports and the general public, all compiled in their traffic control center and sent back to Mercedes drivers via their in-car navigation systems. Be-Mobile ensures that all Mercedes drivers can have the best possible control over their own mobility, highlights to the Mercedes drivers include:

• Avoid Traffic Jams and Road Works: Be-Mobile provides detailed information direct to the Mercedes navigation system of the car to allow motorists to plot alternative routes to a destination that bypasses clogged highway arteries
• Predict Journey Times: Forecasting travel times helps improve road safety and efficiency. Accurate predictions of the traffic management systems helps travelers to optimize their traveling such as bypassing congested segments of the network, change departure times and/or destination, whenever appropriate. Be-Mobile provides all Mercedes drivers a proactive prediction system directly to their in-car system giving them control over their mobility.
