TISA’s General Assembly in Brussels

On 25 June, TISA held the annual General Assembly in Brussels at the ERTICO premises. During his presentation on the current status and matters related to the association, Thomas Kusche, TISA President, highlighted the TISA strategy for the forthcoming years.

The meeting was also the chance for the TISA community to hear from external representatives; Lan Lin, Senior researcher at Hitachi Europe SAS and Co-Chair of the Car to Car Consortium and ETSI Technical Committee ITS (TC ITS), gave a very detailed presentation on the status of the standardisation of the cooperative ITS message in ETSI TC ITS and highlighted the cooperation between ETSI and CEN. Julie Raffaillac from DG MOVE presented the Action c “Safety related traffic information” of the ITS Directive and stressed the role that TISA could have in contributing to implement the Action’s priorities.

On 25 and 26 June, TISA also held the Product, Content and Services, and Technical and Standards Committees Meetings. The next ones will be held on 11 and 12 September in Brussels.
