UK and German Government Ministers share vision for radio’s digital future

The WorldDAB General Assembly took place 3 – 4 November in central London, bringing together experts and stakeholders from the international digital radio broadcasting industry.

The event featured presentations covering all aspects of the continued growth of DAB/DAB+ digital radio across Europe, Asia Pacific and beyond.

UK Minister of State for Culture and the Digital Economy, Ed Vaizey, and Dorothee Bär, German Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI), set out their shared vision for radio’s digital future.

TPEG Forum Korea joined TISA

TISA welcomes the new member TPEG Forum Korea (TFK). TFK is an organisation that spearheaded the development and deployment of TPEG services in Korea via digital broadcast back in 2000.

TISA organised a Special Interest Session in the Industry Insight Stream of the congress on 7 October with the title “TPEG – new targets, actors and deployment scenarios”.

The format of this session took a business-oriented approach, providing insights into services currently operated or being rolled out by service providers and road operators.
